I’ve been doing commercial and architectural photography for about thirty years, and have just launched an online course to teach real estate professionals how to photograph properties. If you can hire a professional to do your photography, especially on higher end properties, by all means, you should do so. Look at their work, and make sure that they have the talent and will put in the time to make it look great. Professional photographers can cost anywhere from around a hundred to a thousand and up, and generally, as with everything else, you get what you pay for.
If you put in some time and investment, you can learn to do a good job as well. Whether you do it yourself, or hire a pro, educate yourself… this is a major part of your business, and can have a real effect on your sales success!
